Spencer Theatre is a beautiful state-of-the-art theatre with seating for approximately 630 patrons. The design of the theatre is such that there truly is not a bad seat in the house. The interior of the theatre was renovated in 2002 and there is new comfortable cushioned seating with ample leg room. Spencer Theatre is located in the James C. Olson Performing Arts Center on the University of Missouri Kansas City campus at 4949 Cherry Street. It is just four blocks east of the Country Club Plaza where you will find numerous restaurants and bars for before and after theatre food and drink.
